Pennants Hills ladies gain valuable experience – Congrats Ella and Grace.

On Saturday, the first of the (Round Robin) inaugural Summer Series competition for NSW/ACT women kicked off the search for Swan’s draftee candidates and continued GWS expansion and places for non-selected listed players to play and stay battle-ready.

For most, this would be the highest level of football ever experienced.

For Pennant Hills, Grace Painting and Ella Morris acquitted themselves beautifully and showed, whilst learning a lot along the way, they deserved their spot amongst the elite up and comers of Sydney Women’s Football.

They both played against each other in game one ( GWS Orange vs Swan’s White).

With the weather dampening conditions, Ella started on the forward flank for Swan’s White and built into the game nicely, with many influential pieces of play.

Grace got to play alongside a lot of listed players for GWS Orange and contributed to a dominant scoreboard win – expressing after the game what a nice thing it was to be a part of the highest level of football she had seen.

Pennant Hills footy should be very proud of both ladies achievements yesterday and there is more to come over the next few weeks, and we can’t wait to see Madi Fleming join them in the experience.

Great start ladies.
