Nathan Ellis takes a hat-trick on his international debut for the Australian Men’s Cricket Team
Another old Demons player doing terrific things in his sporting career!
Last night Nathan Ellis made his international debut for the Australian Men’s Cricket Team against Bangladesh, and to top this achievement Nathan took a hat-trick – becoming the first cricketer to do so on debut in a T20 Men’s International game, and the third Aussie in history.
Ellis is described as a “death bowling specialist” and plays for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League, where he played his first professional game in 2019. During his career with the Hurricanes, Nathan has played 29 matches, taking a total of 32 wickets.
Nathan played 6 games at Penno during the 2018 season with the Div 2 & 3 Men’s teams and scored 6 goals for the club.
Congratulations Nathan, what a fabulous debut game!
