Playing elite level sports such as touch football from a young age, Laara already had the ball skills to play AFL and she has excelled since her debut and has been a stand out in the new team. Her long kicks and strong tackling has made scoring goals extremely tough for opposition teams.

In Laara’s most recent game last weekend against UNSW/ES Stingrays, she played as centre half forward and excelled in her new role by being named best on ground, scoring 3 goals and dominating across the forward line.

Laara has the ability, along with many other players in Pennant Hills, to help drive her team into the finals and one day position herself as a representative player.

Laara is the first ever womens Rising Star nomination from Pennant Hills and we congratulate her on this achievement and look forward to seeing her AFL career develop.
