Shep’s 100th Game this Saturday

July 14, 2014

enl_Sheployd joined Penno in season 2004 after playing over 50 senior games with Dubbo including in their 2003 premiership team. He was a member of the successful 2006 Demons premiership winning team and was a member of Sydney representative teams during this time. In season 2010 Lloyd transferred to Albury where he played 78 games with the Albury Tigers including playing in 2 winning grand finals out of the 4 he played in. In 2010, his first season with Albury, he played in the NSW Country representative team and also the Ovens and Murray team. Lloyd returned to Sydney earlier this year and was a welcome return to the Demons where he has again fitted in as a key defender. His ability to match physically strong key forwards is the main attribute of his play. His height, strength and agility are the key to him being an uncompromising competitor. His performance in the Anzac Day game against Western Suburbs saw him awarded the medal for best on ground. In the Demons annual game at Ern Holmes oval on 5th July, against ladder leaders Manly, he was successful in winning the Bill Carey medal with another best on ground performance. Lloyd represented AFL Sydney in their representative game this year. On behalf of everyone at Pennant Hills we extend our congratulations on this achievement.
